Scott Colville Crop Insurance will help bring farmers’ finances into the 21st century

(April 19, Spring Lake, MI) Say hello to Scott Colville Crop Insurance, a new insurance brand dedicated to helping farmers get the best returns for their hard work. SCCI, which was founded by long-time crop insurance agent Scott Colville, has recently launched a new brand and website.

“We’re excited to announce our new website and get our message out to the farmers who work so hard to produce the food that helps communities thrive. We’re here to help farmers thrive by giving them peace of mind,” Scott said. “Our goal is to leverage technology to help farmers make better business decisions as they work toward a more sustainable future. We want to show farmers that insurance doesn’t just cover potential losses from natural disasters, it can also open doors for better financing, and help stabilize cash flow.”

The Colville family has been insuring crops, livestock and dairy for small to medium-sized farms in the Midwest for more than 50 years. Scott’s father, Jim, built the business on personal service starting in 1967. That cornerstone is now built into the foundation of Scott Colville’s business.

Scott graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He logged away more than 30 years of experience in appraisals and banking before entering the Crop Insurance industry in 2005, joining his father Jim in the family business. His love of numbers and prior career experience gives him a different perspective which has changed his approach. His laser focus is on insurance options that will yield the highest net revenue for farmers.

“We will happily come to your home or farm to discuss your insurance needs in detail and design a custom insurance plan that gets you the highest net crop insurance revenue possible,” Scott said. “Our family of trusted agents are available to partner with you to build the best possible combination of insurance products and services to maximize the return on your hard work.”

Scott’s agency will help farmers make wise financial decisions, yielding long-term returns that’ll help them sleep better at night. SSCI offers insurance for crops, livestock, and dairy, with specialized focus on row crops, fruit, and hemp.

“We represent insurance providers that have over 400 years of combined experience in insuring crops for U.S. farmers,” Scott said. “We are currently licensed in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Texas, Tennessee, California, and Florida.”

To help farmers get the best personalized insurance experience, SCCI has partnered with Marketing Metal, a Holland-based marketing firm, to develop the agency’s brand, website and content plan that will help get his message out to farmers.
